One, Two, Three, Ready Jump

[Problem Solving - V]

On the edge of our world of familiarity is not a cliff.

We tell ourselves (or, we’ve been told for so long that it has become our own refrain, in our own voice, in our own head) that if we journey beyond the edge, the free-fall will be certain death. So, we get this image in our head of a cliff. And, of course, it’s not worth exploring. Why flirt with danger?

But out there is where the advancements are, the discoveries are, the possibilities and potential are.

Out there, on the edge, is all unexplored frontier. Because most people think it’s a cliff, they don’t go there. (Psst: there is no cliff.)

We all have our mental cliffs. Those boundaries that scare us to cross.
Our businesses have those cliffs.
Our churches have those cliffs.
Our schools have them, too.

One, two, three, ready jump. It takes a lot of courage to jump. But when you do, and you learn that the free-fall doesn’t exist (or is shorter than you expected), then your confidence is built.

Let the exploration begin.
