Ask for Input
[Problem Solving - III]
Ask for input.
Sure. But not from him.
Not from her, either.
And not from that group.
Input that only makes it through the screening process of your comfort is likely not the input that will help you see what you don’t see, re-frame what needs re-framing, or flip over what needs flipping.
Ask the person with the skills that you don’t understand.
Ask the group that obsesses about the thing that makes you uncomfortable.
Seek input from where you have never sought it before.
Somewhere between your knowledge and lack of knowledge, between your comfort and discomfort, and between your familiar resources and those that are unfamiliar is a universe of information and input that you may need.
People like us dare to ask for input.
