We need creatives to do what they do best.
Not create. That’s not what they do best. Create is what they do in response to what they do best.
Creatives see. As in, they see what we miss, pass up, or ignore. They see depth, nuance, detail, layers, and texture in a world that is flat, bland, and reproducible.
Creatives look upon the world in wonder, fascinated with what is, enamored by what could be.
Sure, creatives create, by definition. But how do they create beauty if they have not first seen what truly is.
We need creatives to see with open eyes, and then create in a way that lets the rest of us in on the details.
