Having Time
We all have too little of it.The single most common reason people give me for not doing that thing that they know they should do is this: “I just don’t have the time.”They're correct!Because nothing of value happens quickly.Nothing transformative happens instantaneously.Nothing field-changing or industry-altering happens in a moment.Nothing revolutionary went from idea to reality in a day. You’re right: you don’t have time to change the world. As long as you believe people like us must go out there to start our thing, you won’t have the time. But people like us don’t have to go out there; we must go in here, inside, deep, with a curiosity and a patience to ask “What is it?” Our journey begins within. Going down. Asking—and then listening and waiting.Every big thing out there began with a dive deep within. And that begins with a moment. Just one. Don't do anything. Stop and listen. Begin the gentle search inside. You have time for that.So do I.
