“You’re a Fraud”

This lie feeds into a classic sabotage tactic: Imposter Syndrome.

Are some people imposters, frauds, liars, cheats? Of course.

But the enemy voice doesn’t use that tactic for them. The enemy voice uses it on people like us that are unwilling to continue in ways like this. Why? Because the people most susceptible to the fear of being fraudulent are often the same people that have put in the time and are doing the work to be authentic.

The enemy voice may have no correlation with reality, but it has everything to do with your vulnerability. The enemy voice whispers daggers where your vital organs are exposed, not where your armor is the thickest.

“You’re a fraud” doesn’t mean you are a fraud! It more likely means authenticity is important to you, and you hold sincerity in high regard. So, when the enemy voice says, “You Fake” or, “That’s not really you”, it’s your cue to buckle down and keep on with what you’re doing.

You’re legitimate.
You’re authentic.
We need you to do your thing. Your way.
