If You Can Ask it

If you ask the question;
If you have the curiosity to wonder;
If you have the capacity to wrestle with what you don’t know;
If you spend the time to formulate the inquiry;
If you have the recognition of the limitations of your understanding;
If you have the courage to own your ignorance;
And again, if you ask the question, you can answer it.

The hard part is not finding and comprehending the answer.
The hard part is asking.
The harder part is admitting to yourself you don’t know.
The hardest part is being aware of your blindness, naïveté, ignorance.

If you can ask the question, you’re three-quarters of the way to having the answer.
