The last—vocation—comes from the Latin word that means “to call”. “To call” has an intended audience (you), an expectation to be heard (by you).

Have you heard your calling? Are you listening for it?

Occupation. The position you occupy today.
Profession. The line of work you acknowledge as your own.
Job. The work and task you do.
Career. The professional/occupational path you’re following.

And then there is:

Vocation. The work you are uniquely called to do.
