Synergy (Not Entropy)

[Hero - II]

Synergy is the combined effect that is greater than the sum of the parts.

Entropy is the gradual decline to disorder. There are countless example of this.

The villain relies on entropy. He augments it. It’s his justification for contributing to disorder.

The hero is not the opposite or the inverse of the villain in this case. The hero is not preoccupied with organization or order or balance. The hero believes fundamentally in synergy. Beyond merely fixing the “bad” or righting the “wrong” of the enemy, the hero seeks something more, something greater.

A true hero doesn’t only save someone but empowers them.
A true here doesn’t merely resist evil but roots out that which makes us susceptible to evil.
A true hero doesn’t just avert death but offers richer life.

But these, in the end, are always the synergistic result of forging partnerships, building networks of support, and fostering the types of communities that flourish beyond the mere addition of their individual parts.

All that has to be done for entropy to work is . . . nothing.
Synergy requires heroes. A lot of them. Committed to building communities of resilience.
