Weekly Roundup: Measuring Success

March 2, 2020 – March 6, 2020

Monday: Unfortunately, by far the biggest killer of North Americans is heart disease. Do fewer neighbors, clients, patrons, members, or followers of you and your work have less heart disease today than they did yesterday or last year?

Tuesday: Are we measuring for loneliness? Or are we measuring its opposite: community, connection, belonging, friendship, kinship, support, solidarity? Or have we chalked up one of the most pervasive “diseases" of our day to being unmeasurable?

Wednesday: Location is everything when it comes to succeeding in your home purchase, your field, your market, or your niche. Unless, of course, you’re measuring for something else.

Thursday: And even deeper . . . crime is a symptom of a deeper problem, not necessarily the problem in and of itself. Crime, in a way, is an attempt (albeit usually a destructive one) at a solution to other problems. Are we searching for and measuring those deeper issues, too?

Friday: The processes by which your “product” is produced are as much a part of the final result as the thing you “package” and sell. We need to measure that. And then face it.
