Distractions are a Choice

[Avoiding Distractions - I]

Distractions aren’t wrong turns on the road to your goal. Your GPS will notify you immediately if you take the wrong exit. And then reroute you. Viola, you’re back on track.

Distractions are more like stalling on the side of the correct road. Knowing where to go is not the problem. Making progress is. Your GPS doesn’t help with that.

Wrong turns usually can’t be avoided. We all make mistakes.

Stalling usually can. Check the oil. Do regular maintenance. Don’t push the fuel tank beyond “E”.

What maintenance do you need to do today so you don’t spend an hour stalled on the side of the road of progress tomorrow?

Distractions are often a choice.
