Where You Haven’t Been
[Imposter - II]
The road you grew up on is the most fascinating of all roads. Take us there, even if it was just an ol’ cul-de-sac. You’re an expert on that curb that chipped your front tooth, that blacktop that tore your favorite jeans in fifth grade, and that neighbor that said that thing that you recorded in your mind and continue to replay daily into adulthood. In all the details you know firsthand, the universal is tucked.
Okay. Let's dive deep here.
The second most fascinating place is the road you’ve never been, you don’t know about, but only in your soul you dream of. Take us there. Take us to the place you virtually know nothing about in your rational mind. Take us to the place that reason and logic are afraid to go because they are out of control. Take us to the place of your dreams, where your spirit soars, and your creativity can run wild. Take us to a place that’s dangerous, that disrupts our way of thinking, that is unleashed from the tether of "how things ought to be”.
If you think you’re an imposter because you take us to a place you’ve never been, think again.
J.K. Rawlings never visited Hogwarts. Yes, but she dreamed about it. For years.
Same goes for M.L.K. Jr. He only dreamed about the America he took us to.
We need you to take us to the place you’ve never been but only dream about.
