Three Times is a Charm

If I say it once, it might not be heard.

If I say it twice, it might be heard but not taken seriously (because it's possible the first time wasn’t heard, making the second time really the first.)

If I say it a fourth time, it’s redundant and potentially ignored.

There’s something about three times* that guarantees hearing (and being taken seriously).

Three is a number of seriousness, completeness, intentionality.

Try it. Write yourself three notes, send yourself three reminders, tell your friend three times, reiterate to your partner three days in a row.

Go ahead, experience the power of three.
