Will a Machine Take Your Job?

Probably.

Eventually it will happen, but under one condition: if you fulfill your job responsibilities like a machine.

Automation will only replace you if you do your work like an automaton. Like a robot.

If you don’t, you have nothing to worry about. And you know you don’t if you engage challenges with curiosity and will, solve problems with commitment and critical thinking, work on a team with a democratic spirit and contribute to its synergy. Machines can’t do that; they can only complement that, support that, help that. You are already poised for the future.

In other words, machines can fulfill roles, finish tasks, even satisfy the requirements for entire jobs. But they cannot replace humans.

Be human. Create. Learn. Be curious. Bring all of that to work.
