Google Has it All

What will you offer that Google can’t?

The blog content or the lecture information has already been published. (Probably many times.)

The commentary for that sermon is online. (The whole sermon might already be online, too.)

The terms of the sale, the stock images for the presentation, the return policy, the warranty details: It’s all there. (That might be how you found it in the first place.)

All the information any person could possibly want is already out there, accessible, at the snap of a finger.

This is not an easy truth to accept for anyone that participates in the economy of ideas and information. (That’s almost everyone!)

What people need is…
Accessible analysis.
Meaning and insights.
Creative associations.
Novel connections.
Well articulated patterns.
Artistic correlations.
Thoughtful reflections.
And purposeful application.

What they don’t need is more information.

Again, what will you offer that Google can’t?
